Perth Zoo

Perth Zoo is more than just a zoo; its a fine example of wildlife conservation and fundraising at its best. Open every single day of the year and has been since 1898, makes this a pretty special place to visit, with over 1800 animals, 200 rare and unique species in addition to the 120 devoted staff. Meet the beautiful Nepalese Red Panda cub twins or seek out Melati, Satri and Jaya in the Asian Rainforest; the Sumatran Tiger Cubs which are a critically endangered species, with only 400 remaining in the wild plus many more wild wonders of the world. With only a 5 minute drive from Perth and set in the stunning banks of the Swan River, makes visiting this marvel extremely enjoyable and easy to get to. Try and spare a whole day to enjoy the exotic and native animals, as half a day just isnt enough!
