  • A successful business career (overall).
  • Work experience for 3 high level management positions in a key business (responsible for strategic policy development affecting a major component/range of operations of the business).

What are the eligibility criteria for Australia Senior Executive Visa (Subclass 164)?

  • Age: At the time of application you are less than 55 years (regional authorities will make exceptions if your business is of exceptional economic benefit).
  • Business Success: You are doing well in your business career.
  • Health & Character: You must be of good character and meet health requirements to enter Australia.
  • Need to live in Australia: Make evident there is a need to live temporarily in Australia to conduct or establish a business.
  • Work Experience: Proof of recent work experience in 3 high-level senior management positions (responsible for strategic policy development affecting the major business).
  • Acceptable Business Record: You or spouse has never been involved in improper business activities.
  • Commitment to business in Australia: Maintain an ownership interest and have continuous/direct management.
  • Assets: Combined total assets (you & spouse) should have a net value of AU$250,000 must be transferred to Australia within 2 years of your Visa grant. In addition you will need sufficient assets to stay in Australia.
