Controversial Briton Katie Hopkins reportedly pocketed huge Big Brother payout despite being deported from Australia

Hopkins was set to star alongside Caitlyn Jenner in Channel Seven Celebrity Big Brother.

Production Company Endemol Shine allegedly paid Hopkins the full AU $ 200,000 she would have won to appear on the show due to a provision that requires star actors to receive their full sum even if the job is canceled earlier.

“No one can silence Katie, that’s why she was hired,” a source told Sydney Morning Herald.

Endemol and Seven are also said to have paid AU $ 60,000 for Hopkins’ travel expenses.

While in Australia isolation was managed, Hopkins called COVID lockdowns “the biggest hoax in human history” and hatched plan to break the rules by opening the door for officers safety device without face shield.

In an Instagram video, she said she was “waiting” to “scare the shit out of [the workers] and do it naked without a face mask “- a double exposure.

Australian Home Secretary Karen Andrews confirmed that Hopkins’ visa had been canceled, calling the behavior “appalling”.

“It was a slap in the face for all those Australians who are currently on lockdown, and it’s just unacceptable behavior.

“So, personally, I am very happy that she is leaving.”
